Stars, they’re just like us!

Halloween is an excuse for us normal folk to dress up as our favorite celebrities, TV characters, and pop stars, but celebrities are no different.

In fact, several of the biggest stars dressed up as the year’s most talked-about celebrities, fictional characters, and nostalgic favorites. One even decided to dress up as his own character from almost 10 years ago!

From Harry Styles to Lizzo, here are the best 2021 celebrity Halloween costumes:

Hailey Bieber

Oops, she did it again! Britney Spears was a popular Halloween costume this year, but Hailey Bieber may have done it the best.

Not only did she dress up in her iconic “Hit Me Baby One More Time” outfit, but she also dressed up in her “Oops I Did It Again” outfit and “I’m a Slave 4 U” outfit. Simply iconic!

Steve Buscemi

Steve Buscemi may have won the award for “Funniest Costume” of 2021. Fans spotted the actor out and about over the weekend dressed as his hilarious “fellow kids” character from his 2012 30 Rock cameo.

For those who don’t remember, Steve played a private investigator who was trying to catch bad high school kids by impersonating a teen himself. In the episode, Steve approaches a group of kids and says, “How do you do, fellow kids?” The rest, well, is history.

Harry Styles

I don’t think Harry Styles is in Kansas anymore. The pop star dressed up as the legendary Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz for night one of his “Harryween” concert at Madison Square Garden over the weekend and had fans going absolutely insane. He even wore ruby red slippers!

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner

For kids who grew up in the early 2000s, this costume is really one for the ages. Power couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner dressed up as Paolo and Lizzie McGuire from The Lizzie McGuire Movie, complete with the iconic green costume. At least we know Joe has a better voice than Paolo.

Lizzo

Lizzo dressed up as Baby Yoda aka Grogu from The Mandalorian and honestly, we all have to appreciate her commitment to the character.

She probably had to spend hours in the makeup chair! I don’t even want to think about how long it took for her to get all that makeup off.

Trevor Noah

Did you have to do a double-take to confirm this in fact isn’t The Weeknd?! Don’t worry, me too.

Trevor Noah dressed up as The Weeknd and honestly could pass for his twin. Now I want to see what The Weeknd would look like dressed up as Trevor Noah!

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon dressed as Tippi Hedren from Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds, complete with a mint green suit and birds tapped all over her.

Megan Thee Stallion

Cruella de Vil was a very popular costume this year, but very few committed quite as hard as Megan Thee Stallion. From her nails to her hair to her boots, the rapper truly went all out.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Forget the Teigen-Legend family, they’re the Addams family now!

While Chrissy and John clearly knocked it out of the park dressed as Morticia and Gomez Addams, I have to give a special shoutout to their daughter Luna, who is dressed as Wednesday Addams. She was born to play this part!
