The 2020 American Music Awards are ready to put on quite the show and they have the A-list performers to back it up!
ABC announced on November 10 that Bad Bunny, Shawn Mendes, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lil Baby will be performing at the upcoming ceremony on Sunday, November 22. This group joins BTS and Dua Lipa, who will also be performing at the big show.
World Premiere Performances
Bad Bunny will be joining Jhay Cortez for a Latin performance and Lil Baby will be performing “Emotionally Scarred” for the very first time.
Megan Thee Stallion will be making her AMA’s debut with “an exhilarating performance of an unrevealed track” and it looks like Mendes will also be performing a new song.

The Candian singer, who released his single “Wonder” back in October, has yet to release another song off his upcoming album but there’s certainly time before the ceremony.
Taraji P. Henson Will Be Hosting
Though the awards ceremony will not include a live studio audience due to COVID-19, the show is planning to focus on the stellar performances.

Taraji P. Henson was announced as the show’s host earlier this month and the actress took to social media to share the exciting news.
“I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be hosting the 2020 @AMAs! It’s going to be an electrifying night of music, so be sure to tune-in Sunday, November 22 at 8/7c on ABC! #amastnt WE GON HAVE SOME FUN!!!” she wrote.
