Avengers fans, assemble!

It’s official — the Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort is finally opening to fans in June. I hope you are ready for web-slinging technology, Pym Particle-infused food, and Shawarma Palace!

After being delayed for almost a full year, the Avengers Campus will finally open at Disneyland Resort — specifically Disney’s California Adventure Park in Anaheim. Now, fans who have recently been soaking up The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision on Disney+ can finally celebrate their favorite heroes in person. The Avengers Campus will open its doors on June 4th.

After 80 years of comics and a slew of cinematic hits, Disney’s Avengers-themed land gives Marvel Cinematic Universe characters their very own spot in a domestic Disney park for the first time. However, this new land isn’t your average theme park. It’s designed to be an immersive experience that puts you in the middle of the action. That’s right! At Disney’s new expanse, you’re no longer a spectator on the side. Fans can finally realize their superhero dreams and train with the Avengers. You’ll be shoulder-to-shoulder with all your favorites when you step into their universe.

The Avengers Campus is made up of several areas, “each hosted by a different Avenger to share their unique powers, technology and knowledge with recruits,” according to the Disney Parks blog.

Expected Attractions at the Avengers Campus

Are you ready to sling webs with Spider-Man or train in the mystic arts with Doctor Strange? Because, well, you can! At the Avengers Headquarters, you’ll find heroes like Black Widow, Iron Man, and Captain America greeting new recruits and defending the Headquarters. While over at the Ancient Sanctum, you’ll be able to learn the secrets of the mystic arts from Doctor Strange.

Head over to the new ride Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure where you’ll embark on an action-packed adventure alongside the amazing Spider-Man and unleash your inner hero. You’ll get to sling webs straight out of your wrists. Even cooler, though: Tom Holland will reprise his role as Spider-Man for the attraction!

The second large attraction is the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! ride, a fan-favorite that previously opened in 2017. On it, you’ll help Rocket rescue the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy from the Collector’s fortress, where they’re being held in electrified glass cases dangling over an abyss.

Of course, outside of rides and other experiences, your favorite super heroes will also host classic meet-and-greets like all characters at Disney parks. But here, these meet-and-greets are dubbed “heroic encounters.”

Shawarma and Pym Particle-Infused Foods

And don’t think you’ll go hungry at the Avengers Campus, either. In fact, you’ll get to refuel with Ant-Man and The Wasp’s Pym Test Kitchen, where everything’s been reinvented with the shrink-and-grow technology of Pym Particles. I hear you’ll find foods that are comically too big or too small, like massive meatballs served inside oversized spoons.

It wouldn’t be right if you couldn’t visit one of the Avengers’ favorite food joints, Shawarma Palace, too. You’ll be able to pick up a shawarma wrap at this food cart after you save the world.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to experience the Avengers Campus! Disneyland Resort tickets already went on sale online, and fans scrambled to get reservations for opening weekend. Plenty of fans have been hit with extremely long wait times… but it’s worth the wait, right?
