Not to mention, Disney is also partnering with AMC Theaters from November 12-14 and will be hosting four surprise screenings each day of popular Disney films for just $5 a ticket.

Disney+ Day is November 12

Original story (11/5/21)

Buckle up, Disney fans, because Disney+ Day is just around the corner.

Taking place on Friday, November 12, this event will give Disney+ subscribers access to brand new content, sneak peeks of what’s to come, and so much more.

For everything you need to know about Disney+ Day — including what this means for Marvel fans — keep reading.

What Is Disney+ Day?

While the specifics of Disney+ Day have not been revealed, it’s clear it is a massive promotional day aimed at getting new subscribers to the platform.

The Walt Disney Company chose to celebrate on November 12 because that is the day Disney+ launched back in 2019, making it its second anniversary.

“The inaugural Disney+ Day will be a grand-scale celebration of our subscribers across the entire company,” Bob Chapek, Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, in a released statement.

“This day of appreciation brings to life our mission to entertain, inform, and inspire fans and families around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytelling, and will become an annual tentpole event to be amplified across our global businesses.”

Simply put, they have a few surprises in store.

Get Ready, Marvel and Star Wars Fans

Because Disney has been hyping up this day for quite some time, it’s fairly safe to assume they’ll drop a few teasers for upcoming Marvel and Star Wars projects.

There are four Marvel shows set to drop on Disney+ in 2022, so there’s a solid chance fans will get a sneak peek at those projects.

Could fans get their first glimpse at the Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk series? It seems likely!

There’s also a chance they’ll reveal upcoming TV projects — such as the much-talked-about Hawkeye spin-off, Echo — as well as more details of what’s to come in the MCU.

Star Wars fans are also convinced Disney will drop the first teaser for the upcoming Obi-Wan series starring Ewan McGregor.

Maybe they’ll even share teasers from upcoming films? Really, there are so many possibilities.

New Releases Dropping on November 12

Along with sneak peeks, a slew of new content will be hitting the streamer on November 12. Following its release in September, Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings will be available to stream, as will Disney’s Jungle Cruise.
