Hey, there’s nothing wrong with cheesy movies, but this one in particular is… especially cheesy. Jennifer Garner stars in Yes Day, along with Edgar Ramirez from American Crime Story and Jenna Ortega from You.

‘Yes Day’ Inspired by Children’s Book of the Same Name

The film is inspired by the illustrated children’s book that shares the same name, that centers around a day where parents let children take absolute control. In other words, the parents cannot say no to a single thing that their kids ask of them. What could possibly go wrong in that situation?

Then again, what happens if everything actually goes right?

Here’s the official movie synopsis:

Always feeling like they have to say NO to their kids and co-workers, Allison and Carlos decide to give their three kids a YES DAY — where for 24 hours the kids make the rules. Little did they know that they’d be going on a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles, that would bring the family closer to each other than ever before.
