Bridgerton Season 2 may be here before we know it!
The hugely popular Netflix series has officially wrapped up filming on its sophomore season.
In fact, showrunner Chris Van Dusen shared the exciting news to social media over the weekend and included a photo of his two stars.

“That’s a wrap on Season Two! So proud of this cast and crew who brought their A-games to work each and every day in this very challenging year,” he captioned a photo of himself with stars Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley.

No word on the exact 2022 release date, but it’s good to know it’s officially on its way.

Bridgerton renewed for season 2, here’s what to expect…
After weeks of speculation, Netflix has officially confirmed that it has renewed its racy period drama Bridgerton for a second season.

In the new, forthcoming episodes, Season 2 will focus on Anthony Bridgerton’s (played by Jonathan Bailey) quest to find a new wife, following a first season in which his turbulent love life was played out.
While Netflix has confirmed a second season, no date for its debut has been announced.

About Bridgerton
For the new and uninitiated viewer, Bridgerton, the Netflix series which made its debut in 2020, follows the family of the same name, as eight close-knit siblings look for love and happiness in London high society.
The series explores the ways in which their lives are turned upside down by the revelations of the elusive and anonymous Lady Whistledown (Julie Andrews) in London. Bridgerton is based on a series of books written by Julia Quinn.
