Most of Hollywood was completely shut down for months due to the coronavirus pandemic, but nothing will ever stop the Jersey Shore gang.
In fact, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Deena Nicole Cortese, Angelina Pivarnick, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino were able to film Season 4 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in a bubble this summer.
This group will truly do whatever it takes to stay on television, and honestly, we respect the hustle.
GTL (gym, tan, laundry) doesn’t stop for anything, not even COVID-19.
Season 4 Premiere Date
Season 4 will begin with back-to-back episodes on November 19. That’s right, the new season will be on our televisions in just over a month.
However, because of COVID-19 and the fact that they had to film in a bubble, this season will also feature the cast’s family!
Because of this little twist, they are changing up the title of the show to Jersey Shore: ‘Bring the Family’ Vacation.
Though the addition of the families will probably change up the dynamic, we have to admit we’re excited to see what kind of shenanigans they all get up to.
And, as expected, production had to adhere to state and federal COVID-19 safety requirements, so it’s safe to assume the group probably didn’t do a lot of partying in clubs.
Picking Up Where Season 3 Left Off
For those who don’t remember how Season 3 ended, Snooki, Deena, and JWOWW pretty much insulted Angelina while giving a toast at her wedding.
“With more than 10 years of ups and downs and humor and heart, the cast has always made it out on the other side stronger than ever — until now,” MTV said in a press release this week.
“Angelina’s wedding and the speech heard around the world left the family fractured, leaving the boys with only one option — make the family whole again.”
According to the show, the guys decide to get the group together in order to repair the drama between the women.
“So, DJ Pauly D takes over a resort and with the help of Mike ‘The Situation,’ Vinny and Ronnie, they hatch a plan to reunite the girls, invite the extended family to distract them from the drama, and hope for the best,” the statement shared.
It continued, “It seemed like a good idea at the time, but with this group, you never know what will happen.”
Knowing this group as well as we all do, these guys are probably only going to make the situation (no pun intended!) worse.
Snooki decided to leave the show following the end of Season 3, so there will definitely be a meatball-sized hole to fill now that she’s no longer a part of the group.
Leading up to this Season 4 premiere, MTV is airing Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 3 recap specials on Thursday, November 5 and Thursday, November 12.
Mark your calendars, folks, because this is going to be one crazy season.
