Who doesn’t love binge-watching? We all love curling up on the couch with our favorite snacks as a bingeable show plays out before us. But what show should we binge watch?
Today, I am pairing the zodiac signs with Netflix shows that I think they will adore watching into the wee hours of the morning. Don’t forget to check your moon and rising signs as well as your sun sign. You can check your birth chart here.
And no, Wednesday is not on the list because I have already written about the show not once, not twice, but three times!
The man reason I paired the cardinal fire sign with this series is that the leading lady Nadia, is an Aries, but that is not the only reason. Like Aries, Nadia is temperamental and argumentative. But also like the rambunctious ram, she is a huge softie underneath her rough exterior. She is also quite loyal and protective of the people she loves.
Fun fact: Nadia and I have the same birthday!
Taureans are known to appreciate the finer things in life. Nothing makes them happier than lying back on a huge, ornate bed and then putting that bed to good use *wink wink.* So naturally, I had to pair the whole set hedonist with this epicurean show. They will love the show’s design aesthetics as well as the salacious subject matter.
Geminis are represented by The Twins because they are known to be dualistic. So I’m sure they will find themselves identifying with both the straight-laced Grace and the hippy-dippy Frankie. The mutable air sign is also known to have a great appreciation for the written word, so they will love the show’s smart writing and entertaining dialogue.
Cancerians are known to be as deep as the ocean, so I’m sure they would appreciate a show that had deep lore. The cardinal water sign is known to be one of the most creative signs in the zodiac, so I know they will love this show’s design as well as the creative world-building.
I almost paired this show with Aries because it’s all about wrestling and the theme song is “Warrior” by Scandal. But I ultimately decided against it because this show is more about performing rather than wrestling. And no one performs better than Leo! The fixed fire sign will appreciate Ruth’s dedication to the art of acting and character creation. They will also love the huge 80’s hairdos.
Also, I will never forgive Netflix for canceling this show!
Virgos are known to be kind and sweet-natured. However, they are also known to be overly critical and pragmatic. They will relate to the no-nonsense Queen Elizabeth II while simultaneously relating to the more tender-hearted Diana, Princess of Wales. Of course, this show may make them a tad bit anxious since they probably already know how most of the plotlines are going to end.
Libras are characterized by their sociability and their dedication to balance. So they will love this show that tells a story of an unlikely friendship between two very different women who bond over the loss of their husbands. The cardinal air signs will appreciate the main character’s desire for emotional balance.
Scorpios are known to be one of the most sensual signs in the zodiac. But they are also hopeless romantics. And the show’s main character, Joe Goldberg, would definitely describe himself as a hopeless romantic. The fixed water sign will relate to Joe’s broodiness and arrogance. But they will also identify with his need to be loved and needed.
Also, Penn Badgley has his sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, and Pluto signs in Scorpio.
Sagittarians love to laugh and make others laugh almost as much as they love to self-reflect and ruminate about the meaning of existence. And that is why I think they will love this existential comedy/drama that disguises itself as a quirky adult cartoon. The mutable fire sign will be fascinated by the titular character and love the dark humor.
Capricorns are known for their budgetary prowess and their fiscal responsibility. But they are also known to be supportive and protective of those who are in need. So I think they will relate to some of the characters in this show, like Seong Gi-hun and Kang Sae-byeok. They will also appreciate this dystopian series of the dangers of unregulated capitalism and class disparity.
Aquarians are known to be one of the most technologically inclined signs in the zodiac. You know they will love all of the sci-fi technology in this show. They are also often seen as the outcasts of the zodiac, so they will feel a sort of kinship with the main characters, who are also seen as outsiders in their small town.
This pairing is probably a no-brainer. Pisces are ruled by Neptune, the planet of dreams and intuition. So Pisces are literally ruled by their dreams. So I had to pair them with a show about Morpheus, the ruler of dreams. The mutable water signs will love the creative personifications of ideas like Dream, Death, Desire, and Despair. Well, they will either love them or be terrified of them.
Ophiuchus does not exist. And this horrible show should not exist. I cannot believe that Netflix canceled GLOW but allowed this terrible Good Omens rip-off to exist!
