It’s time to see the world through Jeff Goldblum’s eyes…for a second time.
After a two-year hiatus, The World According to Jeff Goldblum will be returning to Disney+ in just a matter of weeks.
In fact, the Season 2 trailer just dropped, and it looks like it’s going to be a real adventure for our pal Jeff.
The first five episodes of Season 2 will be airing on Disney+ on November 12, while the remainder of the season will be aired in early 2022.
The new season’s release will be happening on Disney+ Day, which means a slew of other highly anticipated titles, such as Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Jungle Cruise, will also be available on the streamer.
And, judging by the trailer, it looks like the Jurassic Park alum will be searching for Big Foot, learning magic, riding motorcycles, understanding fireworks, spending time with dogs, and booging on the dance floor.
Really, what more could you want from a show?!
“My acting life caused me to seek openness and interest in the unseen,” Jeff says in the trailer. “Sometimes life’s most important moments demand courage.”
Season 1, which aired back in 2019, was actually nominated at the 2020 Emmys in the Outstanding Nonfiction Series or Special category. However, the show ended up losing to Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.
While Jeff has spent the majority of his career in Hollywood acting, he’s loved being a part of a show that has opened his mind to what else is out there in the world.
“When you can really experience the, ‘Hey, maybe I’m not as smart as I thought I was. Maybe I don’t know everything there is to know,’” he said during an NYCC panel, according to Collider.
“I have my mindset about what reality is, but maybe if it doesn’t make me too gullible to people that would want to con me, there are other parts of myself that might benefit from being open and recovering the wonder that I had when I was a kid. And that there’s real magic afoot in the universe that I could be open to and look into.”
