Chrissy Snow was no longer part of Three’s Company after actress Suzanne Somers asked the network for equal pay. Somers found out that John Ritter was making a lot more than his female co-stars, and she wanted ABC to pay them the same. Eventually, the network fired her over the ordeal.

Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men

Charlie Sheen was the star of Two and a Half Men, but that didn’t stop Warner Bros. from firing him over his “dangerously self-destructive behavior” and “increasingly erratic outbursts.” He was dodging rehab, going on public tirades, and trashing hotel rooms.
