Here’s everything you need to know about the remake, from which voice actors will return to the controversial decision to overhaul the combat system.
“We’re rebuilding it from the ground up with the latest tech to match the groundbreaking standard of innovation established by the original, all while staying true to its revered story,”.
In KOTOR, the Dark Side was more appealing in terms of sheer power. Not only did you unlock more combat abilities and even gain more XP than the Light Side, but you also earn a lot more cash. Light Side choices often feel like doing good is its own reward.
Ethical Quandries in Space
So far, we know that legendary voice actor Jennifer Hale will return as Bastila Shan. There’s no word yet if Raphael Sbarge will return as Carth Onasi. We’re also waiting to hear about Rafael Ferrer, who voiced the main villain, Dark Malak, in both KOTOR and the underrated sequel.
Will the Original Cast Return?
Rather than real-time action combat, I think we’ll get elements of pausing (or slowing) time to change strategy, activate special abilities, etc. This is really useful for games where you control a team rather than a solo player character.
